How do I sign out of my iCloud account on my old iPhone 3GS?

I would like to erase all data and do a factory reset (but obviously don't want to erase data stored in my cloud backup.)

When I go to Settings > iCloud, all I see is my account name, various sync options, a "Storage and Backup" option, and a "Delete Account" button. No "Sign Out" option. Clicking my account name at the top, I see my account ID and password, "Storage Plan", "Advanced > Mail".

Hi vramaiitkgp,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you have a question about signing out of iCloud on an iPhone 3GS. This Apple Support Communities thread looks like it may have an answer for you: How do I logout of iCloud on iOS 6 / iPhone? ...

Based on this, it looks like you would just need to tap "Delete Account," and it should only remove the account from this specific device. I hope that helps!

Best wishes.
