Quicktime Pro 7 replacement in MacOS Catalina

Hi Folks

I don't understand why Apple never applied the QT Pro 7 features to QT X. QT7 is incredibly easy to use and offers endless editing features and fast export including conversion to endless formats as mp4 etc.

Is there a comparable tool around? Please help. Desperate.

I've also been looking for something to edit video as quickly and as efficiently as QT7 Pro, but without much success. I came across LosslessCut as a possible option, but have not tried it. It is open source and not as polished as QT7 with precise in and out points, but might work for you. Just be sure you know where you are downloading from if you go this route! I hope someone else has a good option!
