How can I update the playlists I have on my phone, from my computer?

After days of research my husband finally figured out how to get my hundreds of playlists onto my computer. However, I am stuck with the old playlists on my phone with no way to update them, like I used to, from my computer. Anyone else hate Catalina as much as me?
