Music keeps pausing at the beginning of a song

So I’m on iOS 13.1 and whenever I play my music in Apple Music, regardless of what I’m playing it through: Bluetooth earbuds, car speaker, or the normal iPhone speaker, it pauses the song after only playing a few seconds of it and then it won’t let me play it. I have to skip to the next song and then skip back in order to even be able to play it. And recently it won’t even let me do that for more than two or three songs before nothing I can do will let me play it. Does anyone know what is causing this and/or how to fix it?

Hey there TheModernNinja21,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re having issues playing songs from Apple Music. I’ll be happy to help with this.

I’m on iOS 13.2 and I’ve not been having this issue. Try force closing the Music app then restarting your iPhone. See if Apple Music works with both streaming and downloaded music. Try over both cellular and Wi-Fi as well:

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If that doesn’t work, go to Settings > Music and turn off Sync Library and Show Apple Music. Just so you know, this will remove any music you’ve downloaded to your iPhone. Delete the Music app from your iPhone and go to Settings > Your Name > iTunes & App Stores. Tap on your Apple ID and sign out. Restart your iPhone and sign back in. Download the Music app and turn on Sync Library and Show Apple Music. See if you can music as expected then.

Let me know if that helps.
