Cracked iPad Screen (Hairline Crack)

So I was using my iPad earlier today and it was perfectly fine. Later today, when looking at my iPad, I noticed it had a crack going down from the top right corner (from the power button to halfway down the side). And I hadn't dropped it or anything. So would this count as defective glass? And could I get free repair (since my 90 day warranty hasn't expired yet)?

iPad, iOS 13
