I've updated my iPhone X software to IOS 13 and my face id just doesn't work, Ive tried to reboot the device, force reboot as well as reset the phone and the face id, however it doesn't pick up my face when i try to register a new one, with the previous IOS versions it worked really well however immediately after the update it started showing problems unlocking my phone. what do i do?

Same exact issue. Called and texted with Apple support. They had me upload my logs through the general setting to Apple support.
recommended fixes were to go to an Apple store. They would check it out. And if I didn’t have Apple care then I would be responsible to paying to fix it... very much so unhappy. My phone is set to auto update and I trust Apple when I do update to not break a critical feature of the phone I bought.
have you had any luck? My next option is to do a factory reset... kinda scared.. so many bugs with this most recent software update and I am scared my phone will completely break.
