Can Apple Music connect to a local iTunes server/library

Itunes has been be replaced by Apple Music with the Catalina version of MacOS.

As I feared I am no longer able to use iTunes (Apple Music) to play music from my personal iTunes server that is hosted on a Synology server.

So, dear Apple, how am I supposed to listen to my local iTunes library?

I refuse to subscribe to your Music service! I am currently thinking about dumping MacOS Catalina and stop upgrading my OS permanently.
