Home button heating up

My home button is heating up and I can’t use anymore my fingerprint to enter my iPad. I don’t know why. This is the first time it happened after I updated my software to the latest version of 13.1.3.

My home button is not reading my fingerprint. I have cleaned it. It still doesn’t work. Does anyone know what to do to get the home button to read my fingerprint? I tried cleaning it. Nothing. I tried resetting it. Nothing. Any ideas?

The home button doesn’t see my fingerprint It worked until a few days ago, not now. Can’t add a fingerprint because button doesn’t “see” it. Cleaned button, fingers clean (none are recognized) and restarted iPad. Same problem any idea?

Ipad forgets fingerprint My ipad ALWAYS forgets my fingerprint in a day or two. Fingerprint works fine right after I register it. Then it gradually stops working and within 48 hours it no longer works at all. I have tried everything suggested online, short of wiping the ipad and beginning all over. I notice many people have raised this issue over the years, but no solution!
