The Pin It button had given me issues for a couple years, but it still worked. Once I updated recently, the Pin It button is gone & I can't reinstall it. Safari extensions only offer the Pin It button for iPhones & iPads now. What am I missing?

With Safari 12 extensions which were installed from the App Store are automatically updated. You may need to manually update extensions that were downloaded from the developer or installed with an earlier version of Safari. The button is not working for me since the 12.4 iOS upgrade. Not even on Chrome.
The Pinterest extension hasn't been updated for Safari 13. Safari 13 almost always requires extensions that are downloaded from the App Store. Third party extensions that aren't in the App Store generally won't install properly.
Have you tried quitting the App Store, restarting the computer, and tried again?
Oh really? Figures. 🙄 Do you know if it's going to be addressed sooner or later?
Yes, I tried quitting & restarting, the same thing happens every time, same error messages too.

According to the Pinterest support page, "The Pinterest browser button is not currently available on Safari after version 11". Booooo. :(
Thank you for the info, I tried installing updates & am only getting error messages. Anything else you can suggest?
The required extension won't install in Safari 13.
