Hotspot continuously disconnecting

Hey, I uploaded the new IOS 13 and since then my hotspot is disconnecting after 10-20minutes. It can always be connected again, but for example sharing the internet to my television or laptop and watching a movie, it is very annoying that the internet disconnects without a reason. Does someone have a similar problem? I have an iphone8.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that your Personal hotspot disconnects from your iPhone 8 after 10-20 minutes of use since updating to iOS 13. I’m happy to help.


First, check for a carrier settings update: Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad


Apple has recently released an updated iOS version. If you haven’t done so already, please use the steps here to back up and update: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


Next, verify that the devices you're sharing the hotspot with are updated as well.


Then use the steps here to restart your iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


Are you able to use the Personal hotspot longer now?
