Keynote picture quality when resizing

Hello,

I just updated to Keynote 9.2 and I've noticed that when I downsize images by dragging them inwards from a corner the image quality is reduced.

When I then look at them at a higher zoom level, resolution is worse.

Has anyone else noticed this? I don't think it happened in the old version.....

Open any image in the Preview application from the Applications folder

enlarge the image by clicking the magnify + button on the tool bar

also reduce the magnification with the - button

compare the image in Keynote with Preview and see if there is a noticeable difference at the same magnification

The best image resolution / image quality is achieved at 100% magnification, independent of what application you use
