exporting individual clips from an imovie project
How can I export individual clips from an imovie project? I’ve separated my movie into many clips that I want to be stand alone.

You cannot export individual clips from a project. You need to select the clip and do an Edit/copy of the clip, and then do an Edit/Paste of the clip into a newly created project. It will retain its editing. The clip will then be a standalone that can be exported from the new project.
