The date for Yom Kippur on the calendar in 2020 is wrong. The Rosh Hashanah date is correct, and Yom Kippur is always 9 days later. The Apple calendar has September 27th, but it should be September 28th.
As I illustrated earlier, the date seems correct according to a Jewish Calendar Website

OK, we can agree on that. Of course, most folks who observe know this. Also school closures take place on the day of, not the evening of.
Hi Audra, I've notified the powers that be about the error. I assume it will be fixed but I don't know how immediately it will happen. Stay tuned.
Again, I know that and that is totally true BUT.... the date is still wrong on iCal! All Jewish holidays are listed on the calendar in the "daytime" portion of the holiday even though the holiday actually begins at sunset the night before, so that should stay consistent. And again, Rosh Hashanah, which is ALWAYS 9 days before Yom Kippur EVERY YEAR is only 8 days this year. You can go back every year on iCal and see that there are always 9 days between the two dates, this year there are only 8. Rosh Hashanah's date is correct on the calendar, therefore the date listed for Yom Kippur is wrong since it should be listed in the daytime of that day (just like every Jewish holiday starts the night before it is listed on the calendar).
So can someone from Apple fix this?

My point is that "all the other" holy days are NOT on the Date when they START = sundown the PREVIOUS DAY for those
A holy day STARTS when it STARTS, regardless of when the "majority" of the "day" occurs = Midnight to sundown (plus 1 hour ?)

I agree with both as well. All I was trying to say is that every year the Hebrew calendar dates for all holy days that have been placed on the Roman calendar are put on the "day" portion of the date, and it is usually just known by those who observe this that it actually starts the night before. So every year it has been consistent on iCal, except this year. So I was just saying that it needs to be consistent.
