Error on Catalina Data disk (external SSD)

I ran first aid using disk utility on the macos catalina data disk but I am getting errors.........Any thoughts????

Are you still having issues after "Operation successful." ?

Did you run the DU from Recovery?

As you may know Apples new apfs documentation is minimal to non-existent. If the Disk Utility can not resolve the issue, you can Contact Support and ask them what further options you may have. The only known way I know of resolving your file system issues was offered up above.

Yes ran DU from Recovery and the errors still persisted but no computer issues apparent just the errors as stated above. I originally cloned Mojave 10.14.6 to an external SSD then upgraded to Catalina (APFS). I also use single user mode and ran /sbin/fsck -fy.........no improvement. Thanks

Okay I will consider that but I also recently installed Microsoft office 2019 on that external disk with the original intent of cloning my main HD with Catalina and minus all the 32 bit programs......kind of lose the MS Office.

Hello Leroy,

Could you help me understand exactly what these two entries mean? Should I be looking for remnants of 32 bit programs?........I even checked if there were undated time machine entries but that they backups are all properly dated.

You will need to erase the parent disk and reformat it GUID/apfs.

From your Internet Recovery or a bootable USBinstaller>Disk Utility>View>Show All Devices

You can then reinstall macOS and restore your data from backup, the Disk Utility cannot repair warnings/errors of this type.

This exit code <File system check exit code is 0> means there were no errors. Nothing to resolve.

I would say at your own risk. Reformatting the goal would be set it straight with no warnings.
