Recent apps don’t open from iPad dock

Recent apps on the right of my iPad Pro dock don’t open. I haven’t seen any other report of this issue.

Dock on iPad ver 12.4 irritating! Dock on iPad shows recently closed apps even though I have that option turned OFF in settings. Drives me crazy! It’s iOS version 12.4. Has anyone got any ideas how to make this not happen? Thanks! Btw, it’s ipad Air not Pro.

Apps automatically show up in dock. I have a new iPad Pro. When I open an app to play a game it then shows up in the dock. This happens to all the apps I open. I don’t want all these apps in the dock. How do I stop this?

Hello,

Try updating to iPadOS 13.2 to see if it resolves your problem.
