fcpx menu not working after Catalina update

Hi,

Is there any fix for FCPX menu? It's going all crazy after Catalina update for me. Completely unusable. When I try clicking on the menu some pink black and white lines start flashing and I need to quit the system as it won't let me do anything. I restarted my laptop couple of times after the update now and opened and re-opened FCPX. Anyone else having same issues? Any fix?
