2666 MHz or 2667 MHz
My iMac 2019 5k 27in Retina states it has installed 2667 MHz DDR4 4Gb x 2. Is this a typo? Any info I look up says 2666 MHz
iMac 27", macOS 10.14

Not a typo, but more of a “rounding up” issue. The frequency is actually 2666.6mHz, but some places show it rounded up to 2667, others simply show 2666.

You’re quite welcome.
When looking for additional RAM, check out Crucial or OWC. They are the most recommended brands with users here.
Thank you, I came across this a few years back with my MBP, had an issue when installing the wrong RAM. Didn't want to mess this up again. Much appreciated.
That is all I ever buy, sure is a jump in price from upgrading 4Gb to 8Gb now that i'm going from 8Gb to 64Gb....
Last time I just had frequency issue with the crucial sticks I got.
