Duplicate Calendar Alerts on Apple Watch

I have an Apple watch series 4 with Watch OS 6.1, an iPhone 11pro IOS 13.2, and an iPad pro(2018) with iPad OS 13.2.

Everything is synced fine across all devices. Everything works. With one exception. Calendar notifications on the Watch. every Calendar notification comes in twice. Only on the watch. Everything else is great.

I tried what was mentioned here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8246425 (almost 2 years ago) and still no luck. I've deleted and re added calendars all to no avail. Anyone else have this issue? Or fix this issue?

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities! I understand your Apple Watch is showing duplicate calendar events. I'm happy to assist you with this.

Let's reset the sync data for your Apple Watch to resolve this issue. In order to do this, navigate to the Apple Watch app on your iPhone. Select > General > Reset > Reset Sync Data. The data will resync on the watch which should remove the duplicates.
