Why is iCloud saying you are using Yosemite. I upgraded to OS Catalina?

Slow iCloud set up iCloud is taking a long time setting up on new MacBook. Suggestions? Is this normal?

iCloud not syncing on MBP Been trying to get a Mid-2015 MBP (updated OS to Monterey 12.6.6 today) to sync properly with iCloud for a month or two. It has shown the above message for a long time. iCloud is not updating to this laptop. Cancel is grayed out. Not clear way to shut off this process and start again. Zap PRAM? Uninstall?

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
