Ever since downloading Catalina, every time I try to enter Time Machine with Mail selected both items crash!!! I now have no way to access old emails that exist only on my Time Machine!!! This is extremely frustrating given that I depend on this system/method to work without fail. Will Apple fix this? It worked flawlessly in Mojave.

I did a fresh install in a separate SSD HD.
I install 10.15.2 newest update .
Same problem nothing change.

What format of email did you import?
I wish I had same result...here is where I enter the time machine to import mbox emails, yet once I select this Mail just gets hung up in process. Ugh!

Also have just discovered I'm losing some emails from my Inbox. Completely unable to check if I can recover them with Time Machine. Wish I'd never upgraded to Catalina.
Just attempted another try to recover emails...STILL CRASHES! Unbelievable how Apple has deteriorated since Jobs passing.
