iOS 13.2 Update issues on iphone 6s

after updating to 13.1.3 my iPhone stoped working properly


  • issues with ringing sounds and vibrating
  • Contacts app freeze
  • Air drop search stop working properly.
  • some apps crashes after launching
  • and more


after updating to 13.2 the iPhone ringing for some calls, but still no vibrate,

other issues keep the same problem..

Your software update may have gone wrong and software needs repairing

First try by forcing a restart (hold home and side buttons in until the Apple logo comes. )

When completed, power off (hold side button only) then restart.

The above two actions have differing effects.


If that does not help then...

Connect the phone to your computer and in iTunes (or Finder in Catalina) do the three functions below in sequence

Backup the phone

Restore phone to factory as-new settings. This will repair the software.

Restore the phone from your backup

Choose one contact that rings and one that doesn't ring.

In the PHONE app go to Contacts, find the first contact, select Edit and scroll down to the ringtone. Note what ringtone is set.

Do the same for the other contact.

Any difference? Take it from there.


NB you cannot edit ringtone in the Contacts app, only in the phone app.
