AirPod Pro Microphone Call Quality

Same here and switching back and forth between the pro's and the old ones the difference is even more apparent. The pro's are considerably more "muffled" for the other party when on the phone.

Same problem here - nothing works to make the mic quality better. Really disappointing after happily using the flawless AirPods 1 for three years.

With a cost of €310 a pair, its shocking that we have to try find an alter method of use to get good sound. I’ll give it a go though.

Same issue, completely on usable for phone conversations. Which ironically or not so ironically is exactly why I bought the $250 AirPod pros. Is there a planned fix for this, does anybody know?

still nothing from Apple? Just bought it, 3 days ago. Every call I need to take the AirPods pro out.. just a remark, I use an iPhone XR and an iPhone 8. No change between them..

I'm pretty sure that I experienced this issue also on firmware 2B588, the version prior to 2C54 which you're probably referring to ..

This is absolutely false. Problem existed in prior release.
