Preview in Catalina

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed the issue of Preview not preforming the search function properly after updating to Catalina? I updated my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 when Catalina was released and have just installed 10.15.1. The search function was not restored in 10.15.1. on my Mac. As such, does anyone have an interim fix for this, between further updates?
