I invited my grandfather to my family sharing plan via iMessage. My grandfather clicked the link and logged in with his appl id. and is all set.
The problem I have now is that I only see this error message on my iPhone Xs. I do not see it through my macbook family sharing setting and on icloud.com.
I've tried resetting all settings, restarting the phone etc. The only thing I have not yet tried is "stop family sharing". Is there a way to remove it?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are seeing an invitation sent alert in Family Sharing settings on your iPhone, but not on your Mac. I'd like to help.
ON your iPhone, tap on the contact that shows 'Invitation Sent' below it. When you do that, you should see the option to tap 'Remove'. When you do that, does it remove from your iPhone successfully? Set up Family Sharing - Apple Support.

On your iPhone, please navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. If you see an update available, you may want to try updating iOS using the steps found here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Then, check to see if the invalid invite is still listed. If it is still the same behavior after updating your iOS, I'd recommend getting in touch with Apple Support for continued investigation. Once I click on it, this pops up and does not remove the invite
The same issue. Software is up-to-dated. It says invalid invitation but cannot be removed.
Somewhere in the web there is an advise to reset, but I don't want to do it. Please support with this issue.
