Stickies on Desktop (Not dashboard/widget) gone in Catalina

Where is the file kept? I looked in the normal place, user folder, library, stickiesdatabase. The file is there. When I click it, the text edit file opens it and I see the text. But when I go to launch the stickies app, nothing is there, just a yellow blank sticky.

Stickies content gone and won't save new content After updating to Catalina I lost all my saved stickies (though luckily I've managed to retrieve the content by locating the StickiesDatabase file) and the app now seems to have been rendered useless. No matter what I do I can't save new stickies. Every time I reopen the app I just get a single, blank yellow sticky. When I create a second stickie and then close, this prompt appears: It doesn't matter which of the options I choose; the app just closes and upon reopening I'm met with a single blank sticky, yet again. Any helpful advice would be great appreciated. P.S. This is not about the Stickies widget from the new defunct Dashboard, although it very well might have something to do with it.

Concerns about opening & saving files with the built-in apps in Catalina i just bought a new macBook Pro (13-inch, 2020) with its built-in catalina 10 OS. however, i had it updated again and its now running in catalina OS 10.15.6 and im having loads of concerns opening & saving files with the built-in apps (keynote, numbers, pages, etc). do you happen to have some solutions on how to go about these concerns? thanks! messages app: app drawer missing on macbook air- Catalina Recently had to install a new hard drive in my Mac Air. Currently Running Catalina. My Messages app is missing the icons for adding photos and opening the app drawer FOR MESSENGER. I have the app in my dock, I am not missing the dock or the app in the doc, I am missing the icons for app drawer and photo IN THE MESSENGER APP. Please advise.
