They do not currently have support for this game pad.

I feel the same way. Especially with this new update giving iPad Pro 120 FPS for Fortnite. I normally play on Xbox One, but now that my iPad gets better frames, I wanted to play with this controller on it. So disappointed in Apple. Makes me seriously consider purchasing Samsung products.
About the quality of the scuff prestige while playing Fortnite on iPhone 11 Pro Max. The thumb stick system is not as nice (not magnetic, it sticks every once and a while causing me to have to remove and then put them back on, doesn’t feel as good when I’m using it). The trigger system is not as good (out of the box it wouldn’t unpress so I had to apply a lot of up pressure to bend(?) it so it would unpress, a firm press on the bumper would cause the same trigger to “go off”). Out of the box some buttons didn’t work so I had to reset the controller pressing the reset button, a solution that eluded me for a day.
ive managed to mostly address/manage these issues to an acceptable degree so I am now solely using it to play Fortnite.
these controllers are advertised as hand made, which isn’t a good thing in my mind in terms of probability of error. Your out of the box expertise has a higher probability of being different than mine than if it’s manufacture was automated.
I am torn about whether or not I should return my Elite Series 2 and purchase a Scuf Prestige, since it is compatible with iOS. I wish there was some sort of communication from Apple about if the Elite was going to be supported in a future update so I would know whether to wait or not.
The issue is that one is made by Microsoft and the other Apple. Two giant competitors. That’s why. Has nothing to do with anything else. I know by now being March it may have changed since November. Nevertheless...
Wak555, I find that cringe as I can use my Xbox One S controller perfectly fine on my iPad. Works better than one would anticipate. The problem we're discussing here is not the difference between the two competitors, but the difference between the compatibility of the other bt enabled xbox controllers and the Elite Series 2 controller.
No, Apple have no plans to support this controller.
It would take them upwards of several minutes for them to add it to the iOS controller whitelist, and they are too busy counting their money and not giving AF.
How rude. I see that your frustrated, so am I. That’s no reason to project and pretend you know what they’re doing. Why would you slap someone in the face who clearly provides you a product you find valuable. You think your rude disapproval is going to motivate anyone. If I were them you’d be the type of customer I’d ignore — it would not be you I’d be envisioning when inventing amazing products.
i hope they are counting their money and find pride in their accomplishments — they would have earned it. They owe us nothing other than what they already contracted for. We are not their masters. So be nice and request like the rest of us, and hope they find good reason to accept.
and you didn’t write a speech. That’s fine.
To me it’s more than Apple. I just hate people slapping in the face (figuratively) producers who clearly provide a value to them. Had to say something. That kind of attitude has no place in a free society and should be shunned.
Appreciate the feedback, I wasnt aware of the difference between the Scuf and Elite interface. Still would love to hear Apple make a statement about it on whether its in their plans for a future update.
Yay, now we just have to wait until September or October for official release when this should have been an interim update release. SMH, I am a developer and this support is not a difficult one to add.
I'm afraid not. I have a SteelSeries Nimbus controller that works across my devices but don't have experience with any others.

Same here. I have no ability to add the controller with Bluetooth. I actually bought it for Apple’s arcade. So that is somewhat of a bummer. I hope support will be added in the future.
Any luck?
i paired my elite series 2 to my Mac book pro and it didn’t work well at all, none of the buttons functioned correctly. What iOS were you running? Thanks!
Has anyone tested with ios 13.2.2 to see if support was added?
