Upgraded to the latest version of iOS, 13.2 and the latest version of iPadOS.
My Notes are synced across devices, BUT. when I scan a document in Notes on my iPhone, I see that note appearing on the iPad but I cannot open the scanned document.
Anyone having an idea how to solve this?
I already switched Notes-sync on/of on the iPad, but that didn’t help.
I just discovered that all of my scanned documents in Notes are gone. The notes are there, but the scans are not. They're just a big grey rectangle. Other attachments are OK (web clippings, images).
I contacted Apple Support. There is no solution. I was told that it is a "known problem" and it's being worked on.
iOS 13.2, Catalina 10.15.1.
Yikes.
iOS 13/Catalina has been incredibly buggy, and now it's cost me data. It's unclear if Time Machine can restore my missing files, and to be honest I'm a bit leery of attempting to do it if Apple is working on a fix.
I don't know if my problem is related to yours, but I'll bet it is. For now, I will stop using Notes.
