Apple TV+ via a Web Browser

Is anyone else having a problem with watching Apple TV+ via a web browser? The quality is terrible. Watching the same show on my iPad and it's great.


I've tried Firefox, Edge and Chrome, all the same.


Anyone else?

Immense, hideous problems. We stream everything via browser (gigabit fiber) connected to TV. All other services work perfectly. AppleTV+ via browser crashes to a black screen, on average, every 5 minutes, always requiring backing out to the series title page, re-loading the episode, and the jumping forward to where playback crashed. Either Apple was COMPLETELY not-ready-for-primetime, or they are trying to force people to pay for an AppleTV set-top box to get adequate service.
