M-audio EX-P in mainstage

my M-audio EX-P which is connected to my M-audio Oxygen is being read as a damper pedal and i cant change it to be on the absolute setting.

MainStage 3 - Roland RD300SX - Control pedal EV5 Roland Hi, I plug pedal at RD 300 for change volume ONLY of MainStage Patchs, but ONLY and exclusively in "soft"and "Expr" mode (in RD300) MS receive midi message and work like I want. But the RD300 also modifies the sound of the acoustic piano by pressing the pedal; how can I deactivate the pedal for piano sounds, but at the same time send these midi messages to MS? logic Logic is somehow translating expression (CC11) message into audible volume changes in a variety of virtual instruments. For example, a virtual piano gets louder and softer when I record CC11 changes, even though the recorded controller messages show up in Logic as expression, NOT volume changes. When mapping an expression pedal to sweep pedal frequency of a virtual wah-wah, the volume changes concurrently with the frequency in a totally unnatural way, even though the controller messages showing up in Logic are all CC11, NOT CC7. And yes, I know that volume is affected at the extreme ends of wah sweeps. This is different; it's a smooth volume change throughout the range of the sweep. I've tried creating a brand new project with only one Logic-native instrument, and the same problem occurs, My keyboard is a Studiologic SL88 Grand, and the software control panel for the keyboard shows the pedal is mapped to CC11, NOT CC7. My version of Logic is 10.4.8, running under 10.14.6. Apple tech support can't help me unless I upgrade to current version of Logic, which I'm not willing to do. Can anyone help me to sort out why Logic is always responding to CC11 messages with volume changes?

PEDAL SUSTAIN Logic Pro x HI! I reset my computer I restart all my plugins vst etc...logic works wonderfully but when I plug my synth it won't listen to my pedal sustain ...I ve tried it on fl studio 20 and works like a charm on it, but for recording piano my only choice is Logic Pro X (way superior but without my sustain pedal is kinda useless). Usually I never had to enable or touch anything ..logic always detected my sustain pedal automatically...now I ve tried to enable it somewhere but I wasnt able to find anything...please tell me what I need to do!! thanks

For a good reason: The Oxygen doesn't support expression pedals. If you're a bit into hacking and soldering, a Teensy board from pjrc.com configured as USB-MIDI device can convert the expression and send it to your host. Or you replace the Oxyden with a master keyboard, that has an expression pedal input.
