My TV application on Catalina is showing a notification badge.
How do I remove it?
I had the same issue and I was able to remove it by removing the apple tv app from my dock and then adding it back. When I added it back it no longer had the badge. I hope this works for you.

Open the app and learn what the badge is about.
It very likely is related to the Apple TV+ introduction.
It's not that. Already did the introduction and tried clicking every menu on the sidebar. It doesn't go away.
Restart the Mac.
Still no luck
I suggest using TV's Menu to go to TV > Preferences > Advanced and reset all the options shown there.
Not for me.
It worked but after I restart my Mac, the badge comes back. Uff...
