Siri not working through Bluetooth in iOS 13

Since updating to iOS 13, Siri will not work if I activate it through Bluetooth (in my car, via headphones). I get the message that Siri cannot connect to the internet. However, it works when I press the home button (even when connected to a Bluetooth speaker). How can I fix this? Restrictions are not enabled, and Voice Feedback is on.

For what it's worth my issue was resolved by hard resetting my iPhone. Holding the home and power buttons down until the phone turns off. then let the phone turn on again. I don't know that this will help you, but perhaps someone else looking at this thread will benefit from it.

I'm having exactly the same issue with iPhone 11 pro. In the car I can say "Hey Siri" and i will register my request and do whatever I ask it to do but the siri voice is not being played. You can tell the Bluetooth unit is engaging but I can't hear siri responding. If I ask it to play music it will do so but it will not speak out the words. Same if I ask it for the weather info, it will display it on the screen but no voice over bluetooth. This issue occurs only over bluetooth. On it's own it works as it should. It's driving me crazy!

Same issue here not using headphone though. I'm using the built in Bluetooth on a 2017 Subaru and a 2017 Chevy. Both have been working just fine with this phone for 2 years. Now after iOS13 I get responses from Siri like "I'm on it" or "just a second" but she always fails. Like mm0058 says it works fine when I press the button on my phone and issue the same command.

I thing fixes it, I even bought and returned 2 iPhone 11 Pro maxes now! Deleted pairing in car, retried, reset iPhone, hard reset, you name it. The absolute only way to hear Siri respond back is to completely delete the phone from the cars audio system, then the Siri audio comes out of the phone itself. Even if plugged into the cars stereo via USB/lightning, no Siri voice can be heard anymore. APPLE PLEASE FIX!!!!!

I'm having the same problem with Siri "working on it" ever since an update. Siri stopped playing welll with my ISOTunes bluetooth headset. Came to this page, did the reset somebody suggested and Siri worked, making the call I asked. Then I asked her to text somebody. "Just a moment". "Working on it". "Sorry, I'm having trouble with the connection".

I'm 10 feet away from the WiFi antenna and I've got 2 bars on the cell service (which I all you ever get out here).

And now...it's working again. Just double checking after typing the above. I didn't do anything else. And now it quit. It sent a text, answered a text and then Siri started with the "working on it" again. ???

iOS 13.3.1 beta fixes it (mostly), but now sound is very choppy. Very bad stuttering of both Siri talking and talking to people on the phone via Bluetooth. Siri DOES now reply back to you over Bluetooth or via direct USB connection to your car stereo. Apple just now needs to fix the bad stuttering / voice quality of Siri and phone calling when connected to car.
