Normally while listening to music with my 3M Worktunes headphones when I receive a text I hear the text tone through the headphones. Last 6 or 8 weeks I receive texts but no text tone in the headphones. What do I have to do to get the text tone back through the headphones?

Is this only happening when using your headphones?
Make sure the Ring/Silent switch is set to the Ring mode:

Is this only happening with one contact or several? Have you checked to see if you have Hide Alerts turned on? See the section titled 'Turn on Hide alerts' in Use Messages on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Check for Deliver Quietly under the 'Manage notifications' section of this article: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Also, make sure that you have sounds turned on for Messages notifications too.

Thank you for offering your assistance....
It is happening on all 3 of my bluetooth devices.
It is with all contacts. It doesn't matter who is sending the text or notification.
I've never set any notifications to Deliver Quietly.
I have notifications in Messages Allowed. Checked all three Lock Screen, Notification Center, and Banners.
I have Show Previews set to Always. Notification Grouping set to Automatic. And Repeat Alerts set to Twice.
If there is anything else you can suggest I'd be happy to try.
