iTunes for windows

Hi, I ran into trouble to update iTunes. And therefore couldn't sync or back up my iPod, not add music etc...

I uninstalled it then reinstalled it, now I can't open it as it says the library was done with a newer version... I'm travelling tomorrow and have spent over 3h to try to sort it to no avail...
