Someone got a text from me that I didn't send on iPhone

I received a text message from a friend last night that obviously wasn’t meant for me. I responded that I think she meant to text someone else. Received another text from her that didn’t make sense, and she still didn’t respond to my text. This was around 2:30 a.m. A little after 7a, she replies that she didn’t text me. I sent her screen shots. She sent me a screen shot from her phone (Android) that shows my texts to her from the middle of the night, but her text thread doesn’t show the messages I received from her. What happened? I’ve attached our text threads. Mine has her in black bubbles with white letters, me in green. I’ve circled in yellow the two texts my phone got from her that her thread doesn’t show. Her text thread is the white box with the red stripe next to my texts and the blue stripe next to her. Also, she says on her Android, she can tap & hold her text message bubbles and it will give her details (see last pic for example). Is there a way to do this on iPhones?

I saw nothing on social media when I woke up and wasn’t on my phone until I got off work later that evening when I saw that Verizon had issues nationwide that day. I also scrolled back through mine and my friends text message thread and found the exact messages from last year that match the messages I got in the middle of the night. Weird!
