Messages not syncing in Catalina after upgrade

Upgraded to Catalina on imac - Messages not showing messages from Android users (which it had prior to upgrade), shows my messages TO android users as 'not delivered' (which they are - they show up on my iphone message and folks have replied).

Signed in and out of icloud - no dice.

All the boxes on messages prefs are "on".

Any ideas? Literally worked right before the upgrade, now no dice.

Hi boloney,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you're having an issue with the Continuity feature, SMS text messages on your Mac, and I'd like to help.

What I would do, is turn off the text message forwarding on your iPhone, restart both the iPhone and Mac, then turn the feature back on. That should do the trick.

You'll find the steps in this article: How to forward SMS/MMS text messages from your iPhone to your iPad, iPod touch or Mac

Scroll down to the "Set up text message forwarding" section.

There are other Continuity features you may also be interested in using. Check them out here: Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch

Take care!
