Stutter issue (please pay attention to this issue)

Hello, i have a problem with my iphone xr. The problem I have as I read through various forums is quite widespread, namely after upgrading to ios 13, stuttering through system usage occurs to me.  For example, when scrolling pages on homescreen, closing folders quickly and scrolling through pages, if dynamic wallpaper is on, search from homescren stutter and so on ... resetting from backup, icloud and even set as a new iphone didn't help. I tried it all over DFU mode too but again the same thing. I think this is a problem due to ios 13 because when i was in the store trying out iphones every even the latest ones had at least a small stutter.

No need: it happens in any app with text content (whatsapp, apple e-mail, outlook, some web browsers too) and even in settings from time to time. About reporting to apple: tbh, I don’t think they care too much. It is all about money for them so as long as we buy these, they are fine :)

PS I also reported this bug to apple.

I bought my iPhone 3 months ago and it came with iOS 12 but i updated it immediately to ios13 and I started notice in the first iOS 13 update.

Hi guys, i bought my XS like 10months ago. i have the stuttering problem since ios 12 to this day (ios 13.3.1) and its very frustrating because it doesnt feel "smooth" as it should be. the animations are sometimes smooth like butter but most of the time when i swipe up to leave an app to homescreen the animation is stuttering and its really uncomfortable for my eyes. in some cases when i swipe up to leave an app there's a mini lag and after that the animation finishes(i couldnt find this issue anywhere on the internet so i wonder if you guys have it too, i wanted to screen record it but everytime i try its smooth, its like the processor works on higher rates or something because i noticed if i rapidly start and leave apps while recording the screen its soooo smooth). i never connected my iphone to pc so i always did OTA updates. i dont know if i should try to do restore because i read a lot it didnt help people. i really HOPE apple does something about that stutter problem. in my country the XS was hella expensive and i saved over half year for it lol and now when i see my colleagues using iphone 7 and i see the iOS working soo fluent i feel like i have a ****** phone. i was even thinking about selling the XS and buying 11 and hoping for no stutters but i dont wanna do that. APPLE do something about the iOS smoothness please, its your last years flag ship iphone and and i want to have smooth experience.

I have done like 5 restores, with or without backup, dfu and official but I couldnt solve those stutters... Maybe it will work for you, but my iPhone 7 is lagging since the first iOS 13 update. On iOS 12 it was smooth but my battery was terrible so I updated. Now I kinda regret that...

Hey guys, i can confirm that change the screen didnt solve the issue, as it is clearly a OS problem...

I've sent my device to the Apple Service Center, but they CLEARLY didnt know even what stutter means lol...

Sadly, hope Apple fix it soon...

Btw, when this new iOS should be released?

This is still an issue, I was managed to change iPhone 11 Pro Max on new one because of stutter issue but it still persists: instagram stories, open and close app, scrolling etc. hope 13.4 will contain fix for it. Bw iphone 7 is still smooth and pretty fast.

Me too but for the apps a think its not the iphone problem its just the apps and you just should wait for updats dont worry but tell me in homescreen when you swipe slowly its laggy ?

can you do a record screen ?

Exactly the same thing happened to me. The beta update solved the stutter and now a newer update has brought it back. Hopefully the new update currently only available to developers (13.4.5) does something about it.

The same for me on me 11 pro max. I see significant microlags like fps are to low even on home screen. I can say exactly that I will sell this phone when 12 iphone arrives. My nerves are not steel!!!

ps. Antutu test shows 490-510k points but the average is 540

the same for geekbench. I can say exactly that on 13.3 the results were better.

The issue seems to be present on most Apple’s oled iphones so I doubt it is hardware. Your experience with apple is yet another example of “apple care is no care”. I started to use my 8 plus again and put aside my xs max (which has also issue with color btw). I will stay with my current devices until they get outdated then I will move to android.
