What is the dot in lower left corner of my Numbers document?

This dot shows up when I print my document, even though it's not there when I look at my document. It seems to be in a footer or subtitle box, but I can't figure out how to delete it.

IGNORE THIS:

you accidentally typed that character in the footer while in the print preview. select the menu item "File >Print" then, while in the print preview mode, select the character and type the delete key.



in the print preview mode, you have the "Text Bullets" selected in the Text Formatter. Change the menu from "Text Bullets" to "No Bullets":
