iPhone homescreen washout colors

The only easy way I found to fix the color it’s to restart my iPhone XS after changing the wallpaper. That works for me, it got to be a bug I have this issue in iOS 12 and now 13.2

The top photo is the wallpaper with the correct color after restarting my iPhone XS and the one below is the wallpaper after applying it without a restart.

iPhone XS, iOS 13

Hi it’s not hardware, I can see the difference I really can the top one has a reddish tone meanwhile the bottom one is like orange kind of tone and not so bright, how I know is not hardware? it’s because it only happens after applying a new wallpaper the color on the home screen and lock screen looks different from the thumbnail on settings wallpaper selección. The color aren’t that beautiful and bright as the image shown when you select a new wallpaper. After restarting the iPhone the colors gets fixed.

You might want to take a look at the two screenshots you posted. They both look identical to me. If you are seeing something different than the screenshots you provided, then you have a hardware error with the screen. Screenshots are taken from the video going to the screen. If it looks good on a screenshot and not on the actual screen, it is a problem with the screen hardware itself, as the phone is sending the correct information to the screen. This seems especially true for you, since the two screenshots I'm looking at are identical.
