logic pro x loses takes?

I recorded a new track with a two takes in an existing project. I didn't create a comp because there was a small section that needed some practice, so I set the cycle range to just that part, and proceeded to add some takes over just that area.

Now, when I expand the track's take folder, I only see the takes in the smaller area, and cannot access the two takes over the entire song. It's like it locked the comp from that to the last take (not what I wanted!), and I can only create a comp out of the smaller regions.

I checked the media/audio files and both takes are in the audio file for the track. This seems like a new bug.
