“icloud for homekit must be enabled”

I started getting this annoying message on my ipad pro “icloud for homekit must be enabled” trying to force me to enable icloud for homekit

I don’t use homekit and have no intention of using or enabling it, but the message keeps pestering me about every 20 minutes

any suggestion how to get rid of it ?

This may or may not work, but it's worth looking at.

Open Settings | Privacy. Scroll down and tap on "HomeKit". If you are lucky, you will see the name of the app that is trying to use HomeKit's services. With that knowledge, you can decide what to do next. Good luck.
