The apple keyboard isn’t working with my iPad Pro? What the heck Apple?

I’ve been using the apple keyboard with my pro and since the last update, I keep getting a “this accessory is not supported” error message. The **** it isn’t. I BOUGHT IT FROM APPLE! Yes, I’ve cleaned the contacts. Yes, I’ve done a reset. Anything else?
