Problems with creating or renaming folders in iCloud drive or Dropbox after updating to iPad OS 13.2.2 (iPad Pro 10.5 inch)

I have an iPad Pro 10.5 (2017) and just updated to iPadOS 13.2.2. Every time I want to create or rename a folder, for instance in iCloud drive or Dropbox, it app just freezes and only shows me two blue dots where you normally type in the name of the folder. I can switch to other apps (with the home button), but I cannot do anything anymore in the folders. I have to restart my iPad. I can open documents, but I just cannot add or rename folders.

Does anyone know if this is a bug?

(By the way, on my iPhone 8 I have no problems with this.)

Thanks in advance!

Sascha

Hello,

You are welcome. This is very strange!

Try resetting iPad's settings in Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Be certain you do not select Erase All Content and Settings as this will erase all of your information. It is a good idea to perform a backup of your iPad prior to resetting its settings.

Yes, it worked! I can now add new folders and change the names. Thank you so much, you’ve made me very happy! I was about to give up (it’s almost 00.30 at night here and my laptop died today because of water damage, so I wasn’t in the best of moods when the files thing on my iPad Pro didn’t work either).

Have a great (rest of your) day and thanks again!
