Safari tabs disappeared after split view

Hi,

While I'm using Firefox today I accidentally dragged a tab across the screen and created a split view with Safari. After I closed Safari and reopened the app, all my previous tabs were gone. This has happened to me multiple times already and it's getting a bit frustrating. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? Thanks!

Losing tabs in Safari When are Apple going to do something about disappearing tabs. I thought the worst of the problem had disappeared but twice in the last 24 hours I've lost all open tabs again. Is this double window really usefull/useable on a tablet? I suspect that as you close or put the pad down you unwittingly create one of these silly extra windows and put it full screen. Then when you open again all you have is the one tab and no "merge all windows". Did any users really request this "feature".

Safari Tabs Missing? So earlier today, I was using split-screen mode on Safari. I closed the split-screen and the Safari app. On returning later, I found out that my tabs had disappeared! I can’t get them back, and I have no idea what happened. Anyone know how I can get them back? Thanks.
