Strange crash-pattern

My MacBook Pro 15 inch, late 2013 has suddenly startet crashing, but only when disconnected from my usual setup with external screen and USB-devices. Very strange. OS Catalina - but problem startet before I upgraded the OS. I can't find any crash-report in Console, but underneath is the log that seems to be generated after each episode. Grateful for any tips.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand the Mac is unexpectedly restarting or shutting down. I'll do what I can to help.

Here are some suggestions:

Try the steps here even if you aren't getting a message once the computer restarts or goes back to the desktop: If your Mac restarted because of a problem
You mentioned it also might be related to disconnecting the external devices, try resetting the SMC: How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

Hi jan-hk,

I'm having the same issue... sudden restarts and sometimes back to back... I've had the Apple genius bar do hardware and firmware tests and that comes out good. Did RAM tests and the blocks are good too.

Were you able to fix yours? I have the same crash logs in console.

Hi, no sorry - only fix I have found is to keep the Network/Thunderbolt-adapter connected, even when I am using the laptop on wifi and without any external screen. Doesn't seem to crash then, for some strange reason. I have also had all the hardware tested, but found no disfunction, so must be software-related I guess. Never have problem when connecting it to external screen, Thunderbolt, USB etc.
