Hi,
I am currently on macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and unable to update to macOs Catalina10.15.1. It stops mid download and i get the pop up "Request time out. error occurred whiles installing update".
I also tried downloading the update from the apple store but it says I need OS Catalina 10.15 before I can update. what do I do? Help!

Are you using Wifi to download, if this is your only option, do not use the Mac whilst it is downloading, and if other devices
can access your router/ internet connection then restrict them from access whilst the Mac is downloading.
If you can use a cabled connection to your router try that instead.
I did. Thanks for the feedback . I wasn't successful though. I think I'll take it to a local apple shop and if they can help with the problem.
