For the past several days my MacBook battery icon says that it is charging even when not plugged in. I have shut the computer off and restarted it but it still says it. The charger isn't plugged in and this what it shows. Is it no big deal or could there be a bigger underlying problem?

Resetting SMC could solve the issue, though I think it's not that big problem.
