Hello,
Do you receive an error message when attempting to download Disney+ from the App Store?

Just found out although my Apple TV works fine it does not support the App so yet again I have a trash piece of Apple product that works but Apple no longer supports. This has happened way too much to me I was strictly buying iPhones, iPad, Apple TV and then they decide its too old and stop supporting it so its all trash. Thanks for responding and sorry for the vent
This is fairly common with technology. Netflix just announced that it was ending support for several Roku, Samsung, and Vizio devices after December 1. They don't have the required software to work with a Netflix update. The same thing with the 3rd generation Apple TV. A new version came out and Disney+ doesn't support the new one. There are rumors that the 3rd gen will get the "channel" pushed to it but for now just use AirPlay from your phone to watch Disney+ on the TV.
