I had wifi calling and now don’t since updating to iOS 13

iPhone XR . We need wifi calling where we live. I had wifi calling and now don’t since updating to iOS 13 and every update since now 13.2.2. The settings are right and I have reset network settings, I have restored the phone.The guys in the Optus shop went over it and said all settings are right must be an Apple issue. My son has same phone also with Optus and on same wifi network here at home he has wifi calling I don’t. I have compared the two phones side by side settings same his works mine does not. Can anyone please help I need service for business and am missing calls.

The screenshot you posted was not of that settings page.

When you go there, is the option there at all or not?

You need to contact your carrier's support staff. Don't take it to the shop. The drones in the shop don't know what they're doing and they don't have access to the information needed to fix it.

Your account probably has to be re-provisioned. Contact your carrier and escalate the call until you get someone who understands what that means.

WiFi calling is strictly a carrier feature.

Really!!! you don’t think I know that? did you read my post ? I made it very clear that the settings are RIGHT! And have compared it to same phone same wifi network same iOS same every thing his works mine does not ! Come on geek world let’s not go down the bleeding obvious path someone must have come across this issue before.

If you haven't already, I'd try resetting your network settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. You won't lose any data though you will have to re-enter any saved WiFi credentials.

Thank you but have done that as mentioned in my enquiry . I have reset network settings several times and performed restarts and a complete restore. Searched the very inward gissards of things. It’s not an obvious setting issue!

Thanks Tim the photo was just to show that one is on wifi calling and mine not. In settings wifi calling is switched on and then enabled. It just won’t work. But now will try the re=provisioning from Optus that sound s like a solution

Go to Settings>Phone>Wi-Fi Calling.

That's where you turn it on or off.

Call Optus tech support and have them reprovision Wi-Fi calling. Most people in carrier shops are sales people, they are not technicians.

Problem solved you and Lawrence where on to it. A t the Optus end after getting past level 1 support they switched on something to do with VoLTE. And I immediately had wi Fi calling.
