iPad Recovery Failure

Hi, I have an iPad 4. I plugged it in one day and the Apple logo just started flashing. I decided to do an Apple dfu recovery. When I started that everything was going well, until it just says waiting for iPad. It does that perpetually. Does somebody have any idea what's going wrong. Thanks.

Waiting for ipad I’ve recently found my old iPad, when connected to a charger it will put the device in recovery mode, or will just show the Apple logo for hours on end. iPad 7 stuck in DFU/ recovery mode tried apple suggestions to restore, took it to local apple store for them to restore but no success!…Apple want £255 to repair, seems a lot for a iPad just 3 years old!…have anyone else had similar problems and found a solution? Someone suggest manualy opening iPad might solve it?

iPad 1st Gen will not boot Took my iPad 1st Gen out of storage for the first time in years, i try to boot it up, on the 12 watt charging brick, it shows the apple logo, then shuts off, then shows the apple logo again, and repeat. I can get it into recovery mode where it shows the iTunes logo on the screen, but the second I pull the plug to plug it into my computer, it dies. Plugging into the computer, the screen tries to turn on, but immediately shuts off. So far I've managed to get it into DFU mode once, and the restore errored out. (1603) Haven't gotten it to go into DFU mode since. pls help
