Waiting for ipad

I’ve recently found my old iPad, when connected to a charger it will put the device in recovery mode, or will just show the Apple logo for hours on end. I have tried absolutely everything that I have seen online, check for updates dfu mode, windows security, different leads computers etc and every time it will say preparing iPad for restore, I will hear the noise of the ipad disconnecting, followed by it connecting a couple of seconds later, the. It would change to waiting for iPad where I would just leave it to do it thing, before it says this device could not be restored error 4005 or 4013
